Glas-Col''s variable-speed homogenizer drives features:

For high-speed operations, the direct-drive shaft is recommended. The geared shaft, on the other hand, generates high torque and lower speeds. The homogenizer drive''s electronic motor controller delivers versatile and reliable performance and maintains speed. This controller also provides:
　

smooth rotation and repeatability, reduced motor temperature, and reduced noise thanks to filtered circuitry.
a switch for reversing pestle direction during homogenizing or allowing either motor shaft to rotate in the proper direction for use with the quick change chuck.
　
cord connection to the motor so control can be placed away from corrosive hood environments for ease of access.

Furnished with a 3-jaw keyless chuck and 90-degree clamp.

CHUCKS

Quick-Change Chuck
　

For 3/16" diameter notched pestle rods.
Allows one-hand introduction and locking of notched pestle rod.
Permits rapid and convenient homogenizing procedure. Particularly useful where a separate pestle must be used with each tube to prevent cross contamination.

Flex-Grip Chuck

Flexible, self aligning, slip-clutch.
For glass pestle and stirrer rods.

FLEXIBLE DRIVE

The flexible homogenizer drive allows up-and-down motion of rotating pestle in a stationary tube that can be mounted in ice or controlled-temperature bath.
　

Accepts the adjustable chucks furnished with the motor drives as well as the L11 quick-change chuck and the L14 and L15 flex-grip chucks.
Eliminates hand-holding of tubes and pestles.
　
Furnished with clamp for holding homogenizer tube and shaft restrainer for top of support stand.
Fits Glas-Col motor drives or any 5/16"-diameter motor shaft.
For use with 099C L70 support stand.

Convenient for processing several samples: pestle may be rinsed or separate pestle used to avoid sample contamination.
